MAC Retro Matte Collection - Relentlessly Red Lipstick

What a beauty this lipstick is! Aaahhh I absolutely adore red lipstick in every shade, tone and colour possible! Red lipsticks are my weakness and pink reds especially.

'Relentlessly Red' is from the Retro Matte Collection from MAC that came out about a month or two ago, I think some what four shades were made permanent of which one was 'Relentlessly Red' - described as a 'bright pinkish coral matte'. In the tube it does look coral but on my lips it's super bright red with heavy pink tones.

I love the formula - mattes are my favorite! I paired it with Cherry Lip Pencil but I am looking for a better match of lip liner so if you have any recommendations please do share! For now I'll be stopping myself from trying it on over and over - the colour is gorgeous!!!

Buy it direct at MAC.

Rococo Nail Apparel - Flower Child

My current Nail Colour Crush has to be yellow, this week I had the sudden urge to find the perfect buttery yellow colour - I was desperate to try it and to get it to work for my skin tone and I'm so pleased I found the perfect yellow!

Here I have Rococo Nail Apparel in 'Flower Child' - this colour was released as part of Rococo's summer 2013 collection. I'm not sure if it's limited edition but some places do and don't stock it. Flower Child is a yellow creme polish that has a nice formula not too runny but not thick either.

The colour depending on how many coats you do gets brighter by the coat. It's a butter cup yellow shade that is opaque in two coats, In some lights it's quite bright in others it appears a true baby yellow shade. I absolutely love it and against a tan it looks pretty cool.

I had my nail guy do an accent nail with crystal details just to add a little change and I liked how it turned out. If your after a cheaper version of Rococo's Flower Child be sure to check out Models Own Nail Polish in Lemon Meringue which is an exact dupe for this - side by side you cannot tell the difference! Plus it's only £5.00 where as Rococo retails for £12.00.

Available at Space NK.

New In: Statement Necklaces

Statement Necklaces are the new Fall 2013 fashion trend and what easier way to head into the Autumn/Winter look with a statement necklace! By far the easiest wardrobe transition to make into a new season, this pieces of accessory can brighten or bling up any simple outfit! And so I have found myself becoming a hoarder for statement jewellery pieces! This Dorothy Perkins statement necklace is my favorite from the high street!

O.P.I Nail Lacquer in 'Alpine Snow' - Review

Today I had my nails done and I opted for a simple all white colour! I've never had white nail polish before but always wanted to try it out. I have to say I absolutely love it! It looks really good and I'll definitely be sporting it more often.

I used O.P.I 'Alpine Snow' - it's a clean bright white creme, the formula was rich and creamy but did apply streaky but it evened out perfectly after the second coat. I used a clear top coat by O.P.I and that was it. I didn't think I would like a white nail polish so much on it's own but I'll for sure be purchasing a couple of different toned whites to try out now!

Has anyone else tried white nail polish?

REN Skincare - The Radiance Range Review

Today I have for you my experience using the REN Radiance Range. My first encounter with the brand was last year during a visit to Sephora in Ceasers Palace Las Vegas, I spent hours drooling, swatching, viewing and taking in each and every corner of Sephora. I was then sent off with my bags and bags of purchases alongside generous samples to try - one of which was the REN Radiance Range.

Six months after returning from my trip to the US did I remember I had samples, I fancied a change up to my skincare routine so I gave the REN Radiance Range a try and after using up my samples I went out immediately and purchased all the products from the range minus the BB cream.

I still have my daily skincare routine but I have incorporated REN Radiance Range as a night time treatment. What I basically do is use these four products in sync with each other for one whole week and then give them a break for two weeks before re-applying for another week and so on. This completes the skin exfoliation process and leaves it ready to renew itself over the next 14 days.
