Yellow into Spring

The second I saw this gorgeous Yellow Blazer in River Island I had to have it! I just love yellow! Argh yellow on babies too cute! Moving on...Yellow on me - I could just picture so many different looks in my head with it. But most of all I just loved how it looked against my skin colour! So much more brighter for Summer than Spring but so perfect as the weather transitions.

It's literally a neon yellow blazer; a little lighter than a highlighter yellow but still seriously way too bright for my comfort zone! But today when I wore it I got so many looks, comments and head turns I knew straight away I'd nailed the warm weather wardrobe!

I paired it with dark indigo skinny jeans, white stilettos and a navy-white-yellow color block blouse.

Baby Pink Nails

Today I felt so obsessed with Baby pink I had my nails done in Baby Pink too! It's Collection 2000's 60 second nail polish in colour 'Candy Floss'. On my lips I had a mix of Dior Lip Glow and Maximizer with a coating of Nars Turkish Delight Lipgloss. On my eyes I had Dior's 3 Couleurs Smokey from the Cherie Bow Edition.

Collection 2000's 60 second Nail Polish is a gorgeous Baby Pink colour, it's not a pastel pink and really is a true shade to it's name: 'Candy Floss'. It looks really pretty but sadly the formula is so rubbish and streaky when applied even after three coats it needed serious help, it just about balanced out with full opacity and needed two top coats.

I adore the colour though!

Ben Nye Loose Powders Review, Swatches and Photos

'Ben Nye was a renowned makeup artist for the Hollywood film industry extending over four decades from the 1930s to the early 1980s. He worked for such films as Gone with the Wind (1939), Miracle on 34th Street (1947), Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (1953), The King and I (1956), The Fly (1958), Valley of the Dolls (1967), and Planet of the Apes (1968). As he retired he created the Ben Nye Makeup Company and even to date today his son Dana Nye-CEO continues his distinguished reputation of makeup artistry and the cosmetic line.'

Although the Ben Nye Makeup Company is well used and renowned in the Hollywood industry it's also pretty famous and popular for the supply of TV and Theatrical makeup. The secret is finally being shared among every day makeup routines now, favored by the likes of Mario Dedivanovic and Wayne Goss (that's to us beauty bloggers/vloggers). Mario famously creates Kim K's under eye highlight and contour and Wayne very kindly teaches us how to replicate it!

Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder Review

"One invisible formula that works for all skin tones, from light to deep. This powder contains unique light-reflecting, micro-refined spherical silica powders that help create a soft-focus appearance, diminishing the look of fine lines and imperfections while visibly smoothing skin." -

I've been after a new setting powder for some time that I can use on a daily basis, as I like to save my MUFE HD Setting Powder and Giorgio Armani Loose Setting Powder for special occasions. So back in November while on holiday in Las Vegas I spent hours trying out different products in Sephora and picked up the Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder.

It's named as UNIVERSAL which is a basic translucent powder. I've read plenty of reviews online and it's been a continuous winner with plenty of beauty magazines and awards.

Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer

It's always easy to shift the blame on someone else... and so today I'll be shifting it over to Chloe at BlushCrush. Behold the 'RIMMEL APOCALIPS'.

I very rarely pick high street cosmetics not because I don't like them but because I just favour the likes of MAC, Dior, Chanel and YSL constantly. But when I caught glimpse of a new product which Chloe was raving about I thought out of curiosity I'll have a peak and swatch them, see what all the fuss is about; now I totally get it! Though my mum didn't quite get why I forget to buy the tomatoes because they were on the shopping list....

These new Apocalips by Rimmel are very interesting indeed, very pigmented, very effective, very sexy looking, very sufficient, very affordable and damn right kicking my YSL Glossy Stains behind.

Read on I'll tell you why?!...
